Re: Manufacturing Consent

Manufacturing Consent, the documentary named after and describing the book of the same name by Noam Chomsky, explains his critique of the mass media and it's delusion and dilution of the "common public" as simply a tool of the politically and financially powerful people and institutions in the US.  I tend to agree with Chomsky on these points.  I think that in our current time, especially with the internet, we do have sources of media and information that aren't biased by large corporations or political leaders but I agree with his thesis that a large majority of mass media is.
